Issuing Section 18A Certificates

A Section 18A certificate is an official document issued by a Section 18A approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) that allows a donor (individual or business) to claim a tax deduction for a qualifying donation from their taxable income.

How to Issue a Section 18A Certificate

A Section 18A certificate can be issued either when a donation is captured from the "New Donation" form, or from the "Donation History" table.

A Section 18A certificate can only be issued if all the donor's information required for S18A has been captured.

NB: Issuing a S18A certificate on 10BucksOnly means a S18A certificate has been generated on the system. This impacts the number of receipts you have available depending on your "Subscription" package. If you are on Ignite or Accelerate you will will have a limited number of receipts/certificates included in your package, after which per certificate rates apply.
